In defence of the owner of the camp grounds he takes his responsibility to the public seriously and having hoons exceeding the speed limit of 5 Km an hour in the park is dangerous. There are plenty of signs indicating the speed limit, it is a family orientated park with an emphasis on safety. He does not tolerate fools gladly and I for one am grateful that he protects his customers.

Great place to stay. For me it's close to the Mountains that I climb.

As I approached the entry gate the owner pointed out I was going over the 5km speed limit. I respectfully apologised and said it wouldn't happen again, to which he responsed in an aggressive voice that he doesn't care about apologies and he shouldn't even let me in on the camping ground (to bring this into perspective, I was doing 10km, it was 6pm and nobody was around on the road towards the gate). He continued to berate me for 5min straight and said he doesn't care about his bad behaviour to customers. After payment he continued, in an aim to defend his emotional state, and noted that if someone gets hurt he has to cop the insurance claim. He then worked himself up again and stood up and threw both his middle fingers up in the air saying "and I don't care what people write on google, because I can't defend myself". Baring in mind that this aggressive behaviour is shown to a 5ft young woman who wasn't saying anything back in the aim to not further escalate the situation.

***Brilliant campsite*** We read some of the reviews on here and were initially a little nervous about booking HOWEVER, I am so pleased we booked in and went. Campsite is surrounded by the most beautiful views, plenty of space, clean and tidy, you are also provided with fire pits for those who love a little fire! Yes there is a 5km speed limit..he's looking out for the kids and yes there are bugs...you're in the countryside and contrary to some of the reviews on here, we found the owner Steve to be friendly, kind and interesting. We were a little late arriving for the morning tour but that didn't matter, he still showed us round. I am only sad that we won't still be in the country to see the end of his current project. Wishing you all the best in your venture :-)

Grassed, shaded, powered or unpowered camping sites next to the Glass House Mountains National Park. Good starting point for MTB rides to Glass House township and Glass House Mountains Lookout.

-absolute worst behaviour I've ever experienced of an office manager /owner. For those who don't want to read further, don't drive more than 5km, or he'll scold you for it.
